Re: chiffandfipple.com hacked

I just received an e-mail from another chiff member however it has been sent from another company using my friends e-mail address. I'm wondering now if the address book has been stolen? It comes from a site called Vanigo.com

Re: Join Michael Cooney and Ivan Goff in Sunny Florida!

I just saw Michael playing in Mt. Airy Md. way out in the sticks where log cabins are the norm. He and Pat Egan put on a great three hour show, tight, tight, tight playing. He does wonders with his new Khoeler chanter! (jealousy) Approachable and fun to talk to. If you have Michael as a teacher at t...

Seth does have a 30 month wait. Childress has 11 months for just an upgrade. Its possible to pick up a Gallaghar half set on e-bay occasionally.

Re: BC Chilress Pipes

I bought a set of drones from Bruce and the synthetic reeds he has play great. I have a wide bore D chanter and opened the reeds to sound more open to match the chanter, they are rock solid without any closing issues, a nice throaty sound from the bass. In the switch from fall to winter there was no...

Ditto, You'll have enough on your plate with just the chanter, give yourself a few years on just the practice set and you won't be overwhelmed. I waited 3 years and found the addition of drones took alot of air out of the bag. I'm glad I waited.
Best of luck!
