Your children scored big this year.

Re: New Year Resolutions, What's Yours?
Resolutions? Haha. Hahaha. Not every breakfast begins with sausage, bacon, and eggs. Those unfortunate, deprived people. Couldn't someone set up a "Save the Breakfasts" fund on TV for them? That's the problem with kids today. They all want someone else to set up a fund or save the world a...

Re: New Year Resolutions, What's Yours?
My wife and I never do resolutions but earlier this year, we agreed to eat healthier. Not every breakfast begins with sausage, bacon, and eggs. I like cereal. Yes, I do.

Re: slippery fife
Adapting MT's advice, I licked my fingers and that was a solution that worked for short intervals. I have lotion everywhere, so that should be a no cost solution. I like the feel of moleskin. Re: slippery fife
How's the fife play? I've been eyeing those recently. Thanks for the advice all of you about the Gorilla Snot. Do you think my local guitar stores (there are at least 3) sell that stuff? It plays well. It sounds OK to me but I haven't played with anyone else nor have I compared this with a tuner. I...

slippery fife
I bought this fife at amazon.com. I slipped it into a purchase without my wife noticing until it was delivered. It was less than $15. I like it and I bought it to keep in my car. My only complaint is that it's so shiny that it's slippery and i have to change my hand position to hold onto the thing. ...
