Which two or three books do you think are the best tin whistle self-instruction tutorials :thumbsup: for beginners with little to no music experience?

Susato "V" series. Any reviews?

Has anyone had a chance to play a Susato "V" series whistle?
If so, in what keys and how do you compare it to other whistles and the Susato "S" series?

Fife Instructors in S. California ????

Can anyone point me to a fife instructor and/or a fife and drum corps in S. California? Well, actually, in or nearest to Orange County (the real home of Disneyland. NOT L.A. :D ). I'm not ready to start lessons just yet. But i'd be nice to have a few contacts and perhaps a corps to go whatch practic...

Well, that all (above) helps quite a bit. Because of my bad bad experience with a couple of the plastic fifes, form two different sources, I had pretty much dicounted them. But I will check out the Tipples based on the recomendations here. For a biginner, does anyone have an opinion on the 'persimmo...

[color=red][color=red]OK, I'm lost. I was looking for a chap by the name of Davig Migoya who, I am told, is a fifer extraordniar and can heelp me in my quest.
