Has anyone had a chance to play a Susato "V" series whistle?
If so, in what keys and how do you compare it to other whistles and the Susato "S" series?

Does anyone have an opinion on the quality of the persimmon fife, offered by copperman, as a fife for a beginner?

Can anyone point me to a fife instructor and/or a fife and drum corps in S. California? Well, actually, in or nearest to Orange County (the real home of Disneyland. NOT L.A. :D ). I'm not ready to start lessons just yet. But i'd be nice to have a few contacts and perhaps a corps to go whatch practic...

Well, that all (above) helps quite a bit. Because of my bad bad experience with a couple of the plastic fifes, form two different sources, I had pretty much dicounted them.
