New Olwell flute

Finally after years of saving, and then waiting, my new Olwell flute arrived today and it’s a beaut! Had to make a few tweaks though, so FYI: First I had trouble getting the low c, couldn’t even find the hole. Fortunately I had my old Boehm flute in the closet, so I just swapped in the old foot join...

Powdered sugar (Confectioners sugar) is also popular on fry bread, good to know if you don’t have honey... but if you don’t have honey, you probably don’t have confectioners sugar.
BTW there’s a great Native American film called “More Than Frybread”... mmm

Funny thing, I’m a former flamenco guitarist starting to get into ITM and I’ve been wondering about other instruments, meaning besides traditional instruments like fiddle, flute, bodhran and bouzouki. Wait, bouzouki?

I used to use a micronta brand thermometer/hygrometer I got at a Radio Shack for under $10 because I saw that model used in a medical research study. But it’s been discontinued, and mine died an ugly death from bad batteries.

I’ve seen the aura cacia brand in grocery stores- I think Sprouts. I thought from the label it was pure, but I’m still figuring things out and just figured out what sweet almond oil is.
