Are there any good online resources on making spruce reeds? Obviously there's tons of info for cane, but I haven't found much for spruce. There isn’t much online. Did not know this. Interesting. It's a great sounding set, at least in the recordings I've heard. I haven't heard him play it live.

No, I haven't seen cork on the top of the chanter top. I was referring to where the chanter top joins the chanter.

I'm looking for a set of bellows to power a practice set of uilleann pipes. Needs to be in good condition and airtight. Doesn't need to be very big - a set of small pipes bellows would probably do. I'm based in Quebec, Canada.

Lovely photos. Have you considered putting together a book of photos of the WCSS over the years? I'm sure that there would be great interest in such a book.
