WOW! :o Thanks for the free CDs, Phil, they're quite the gift. I hope your holidays are going well and that your generous spirit is reflected in others.

Congrats Denny. It's great your band is being recognised and that ya'll get to do the gig. The extra adrenaline from stepping onto a big stage and the energy from a big crowd can make for a memorable experience.

Re: An introduction.........

Well, 22 years later and I’m still playing electric bass along with a little bit of guitar for fun. Now, I’ve developed a bug for playing the whistle. ..... Since I already suffer from the bassist’s affliction known as GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) I caught WhOA in a very short time. Whistles are...

Coolsville. Where is that? You'll have to ask Rickie Lee: So now it's J and B, and me, and that sounds close, but it ain't the same (well, that's okay) Hot City don't hurt that much but everything feels the same Well the real thing come and the real thing go... Well the real thing is back in town.....

Re: What whistle should I move on to now?

The Feadog was great, but any suggestions of a whistle that might sound better or louder would be appreciated. P.S., if this helps in your replies, I already have a Walton's mellow d, 2 Clarke orig., and a no brand whistle. Better is so subjective that it's kind of meaningless for us to make that r...

It feels like I've untied a great big ship from its moorings and it's set sail full speed ahead. There's more to come but as I said I can't share that until everything is nailed down. There are all kinds of rumors going around here and town. Congrats on the makeover. So, should we be looking for th...

Jerry tweaks whisltes professionally, but if I recall, he sent a whistle that he thought was unplayable, and Peter L not only played, but played it beautifully... or so I heard. I also think I heard something about one of his students playing it beautifully, too.. If you heard about it in this thre...
