Just to clarify a few things: A means half-holing the G only (ie you play a G# and a C#) --> A B C# D E F# G# A Cnat can be cross- or fork-fingered: Cnat= 0XX000 where 0 is open, X is covered Any whistle can play it's key and a fourth up (ie, D= D + G, A= A + D, E = E + A, etc) with no half-holing ...

I agree with most of the posts.. I would hate for any pipemaker to try to bamboozle anybody into buying a crappy chanter... I myself sell only quality in tune instruments, as my customers will vouch for, read some of my testimonials.... I know their is some new pipemakers that Peter talks about that...

File's kinda big, so I put the link instead... This wood was turned for pool cues and is too small to make key blocks but makes a nice keyless chanter and it sounds great...
