Ive had 2 lumbar surgeries within the past 1 1/2 years, leaving me fused in most of my lumber spine. Ive also had 2 cervical surgeries as well. I played the uilleann pipes prior to all this, and now am attempting to get back into it. But, when I play it causes a good amount of discomfort on my right...

Kelleher bellows part
Im aware that Kelleher is no longer in business, but does anyone know if he still supplies parts for bellows he sold? im in need of the metal fixture that screws into the bellows from the blowpipe tube. Or is that a part that can be bought elsewhere?

Benson Practice set for sale
Im selling a Benson Bubinga practice set. The chanter is his basic one, no keys. It presently has a reed which is playing, but could use some tweaking or replacement depending on your taste. The bag is in good shape and holds air nicely, but the bellows presently has a leak. It seems to be the intak...

Fred Morrison Uilleann pipes
Ive heard some very good sound clips of these pipes, and am considering giving a set a try. Are there any experienced pipers out there who can give these an educated playing critique?

I am selling a Practice set made up of a Blackwood/brass Kwisthout chanter in D, a Schaefer bellows, and a Bag by Hamon. Re: Ebay Items
Has anyone noticed the shipping details? USPS economy? Up to 15 days? Thats a disaster waiting to happen for the pipes! And the shipping costs aren't cheap....$65? you could easily do UPS ground for that. Sketchy

Re: Pakistan reeds
so far I haven't been able to get them to play in the Kwisthout chanter that I have. They either take too much air, and/or have a weak back d. Im working on the to see if I can get one to work well, so we. shall see. They play through 2 octaves easily, but the worst of it is the back d problem.

Re: McCallum getting into uilleann making
Another video from the website...this one is for the practice set but gives a very good example of the chanter by itself. I think whatever they have done, they did right. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... e=emb_logo
