My kids are usually such hams but when it comes to making our first video, they pretty much froze up. They were soo much better at the Madrigal Dinner in their costumes but the lighting made video impossible. Hi, "Dad." I thought they sounded fine. You have every right to be proud of them...

Hope that makes you feel better, my friend.

While I like all the candidates, I didn't vote for none of them. (This is the only place I can use grammar like that and not hear about it.) My reason? Voter apathy. That, and the fact that none appear to be giving any sort of worthwhile kickbacks. :P If I was promised an ambassadorship to the test ...

Re: We've got Opossums!

Please note, these are "Opossums" as opposed to the Australian "Possum". Ah, yes. You have the Irish variety of the clan. I believe the correct nomenclature is "O'Possum." :D What does a possum have to do to get an 'O' in front of its name? I always thought they were I...

Good points. My counter would be that if my child asked me whether Grover was real I'd tell the truth right away. I'd say that Grover is a puppet that is worked by people you can't see, and they are creating a character for you to enjoy. I'm not even sure we're spoiling anything by teaching them th...

I loved believing in Santa long after I suspected the truth. I loved my parents for promoting the magic by leaving personal notes (to me! from Santa!) along with the cookie plate left empty except for crumbs, and the glass of milk drained. Never once did I feel let down that they were "lying&q...
