Hi All,

Steve Power at http://www.shannaquay.com has some Desi Seery keyless flutes available in limited stock. These flutes play really well, for example Tom Doorley from Danú plays one!!!

The price is right and they last forever

All the best,

Patrick.

So now for the real deal... how do I make those groovy smiley faces? I've seen all sorts, even animated ones! Other then the usual "colon-bracket" thing ie.

Thanks folks,

Patrick.

Hi All, Just wanted to send a quick message to say that I just received a regular D Cillian O'Briain whistle. It's one of his "Improved" models and is a wonderful player! <a href="http://www.shannaquay.bigstep.com/category.html?UCIDs=963379%7C1005858">Cillian's Website at Shanna ...

Hey Caryn,

There are lots of good pipers in your area. Get in touch with the pipers club as suggested and you'll be on the pigs back!

Gluck,

Patrick.

Hey Tansy,

Good to hear the pipe cleaner is bringing you some joy. Is it flattening the pitch of the chanter a lot? I'm sure with some moving of the reed into the reed seat that it should play in pitch for you.

Give pipe cleaners a go???? They would be a bit more controlable........? Probably better off getting a reed you like.... or locking yourself away in a room that won't bother others??? I konw of people who wrap rubber bands around their reeds loosely to mute them a bit.... that's why I mention the p...

Hi Brian, Sounds like you're looking for a narrow bore D set. Geoff Wooff would naturally be my first choice. He might make a practice set for you in a shorter time period??? Other then him I'm not sure who makes narrow bore D sets??? Don't know why, they are sweet sounding. Actually now that I thin...

Hi Brian, Quinn's pipes are no more mellow then anyone elses. The "mellowness" has everything to do with the reed setup. Are you talking about his flat sets or concert pitch sets? I've played a variety of his sets too and they are all different due to how the owner likes the reeds to be, h...
