Hi..I am looking to buy a reasonably priced second hand Gary Somers D flute in delrin...Because of our varying climate I think that this would be a suitable instrument for all extremes.

I have tried a couple of flutes that I want to play but the one that would suit me fine would be a Gary Somers delrin flute in D....does anybody have one for sale ?

After playing this lovely flute this morning and realising what a great tone it has, I have decided to take it off the market...

[img][img][/img][/img] I have this lovely wooden flute , probably African blackwood as it is quite heavy, which I bought years ago and no longer need it ..It is in very good condition, has a metal sleeved head and has a lovely tone..No maker's name on it and no idea how old it is..I paid about $450A...

I have advertised this lovely flute for a couple of weeks now, on this site and ebay...after having to deal with a few time wasters I have decided not to advertise it publicly again....perhaps one day I will find somebody deserving of it through private enquiries, until then it goes back into the cu...

It was shattering news that greeted me this morning, Thursday 6th, on hearing of Mike's death..I was informed by somebody who is looking at one of Mike's flutes that I have for sale on ebay. It is an awful coincidence that It should be on the market at this time but hopefully if it sells, it will go...

Stunned and saddened by the passing of Mike....the world was given a great gift, the gift was Mike..RIP.
