I would think your main issue, taking into account the wild changes in temperature and humidity is with the reed. Learn all you can about reed shenanigising .

I'm not totally convinced, I hear an accordion , fiddle and whistle . Sometimes pipes, but then is it the blend of instruments that sounds like pipes.
Anyone know who the musicians are ?

Is there any way of knowing if you buy a hunter chanter ,if it was made by Sam Lawrence or Peter Hunter. Do either have name stamps?
