Doyle Simple Flute dimensions
Hi! Have any of you measured or dimensioned Martin Doyle's flute? I have made some measurements but the second part of the flute is quite difficult to measure without special measuring tools.

Re: Reamer makers
You can/should(?) make the reamers in multiple sections. So, unless your lathe is very small indeed, it should be possible. At least a few known makers do not make their own reamers. There are many reasons. Making perfect reamers requires a precise machine or a lot of experience that I do not have....

Re: Baritone drone with puck
Leo Rowsome made at least two sets like this - there's a well known photo of him, Clancy, Seery, and Leon Rowsome, where Seery and Leons sets are shown both with this feature. So one suspects it was an "ultra" variation given the additional work required. Question is, how does it sound? M...

Re: Baritone drone with puck
Sean Seery's Leo Rowsome set . Out of curiosity, is this set being played by anyone currently? I love this set. Metal pipes are my dream bagpipes. I like using a lot of metal. I have reasons for this. In my country, in my region, it is difficult to control wood due to large fluctuations in atmosphe...

Synthetic drone reeds
After reading a few articles about synthetic drone reeds in D, my head is confused. I wonder what is the best method to choose? Ezee reeds work best in many cases. I admire people who try to create something universal. What do you think about the methods of producing reeds? Do you have any dimension...

Re: uilleann mainstok - need help.
There are a number of excellent videos on YouTube under ¨Offset Drilling on a Lathe¨. It is also possible to accurately bore offset holes on a Milling Machine. There are possible setups to accomplish this with a Pedestal Drilling machine to the depth required. You start with a contentious propositi...
