Re: George Ormiston & Tony Millyard flute impressions?

Hey Ricardo! I can tell you a little bit about my experience with Millyard flutes. Spoiler: Im very happy with it ;) When I talked to Tony about ordering a keyed flute I wasnt sure if I wanted a R&R or Pratten-based model, because I felt like everyone describes the differences... differently and...

Re: A beginner flute for short fingers?

I had the same problem as you! In my research I also found a lot of people recommended the Burns folk flute for small hands, which I bet is a good flute, but too far away for me (shipping, taxes ect.). If youre located in the EU region, I can highly recommend a flute by Tony Millyard. He send me two...

Re: Small handed flute = pitch problems?

Thanks so much for the fast and helpfull replies! I guess its obvious that makers wouldnt offer those flutes, if it cant be done with a good outcome... But i was still interested to hear a few experiences. Its good to know that i dont have to choose between reachability and tune :) @Casey Burns: Thi...
