Pinky holes on lower than D whistle?
I think I can guess the answer. I'm just curious. I see some D whistles with a 7th hole to give C natural with the bottom hand pinky. I don't think I've seen such a configuration on a C or Bb whistle. Why not?

Why Bb? Lots of reasons. First, I'm not likely to be playing out any time soon, if ever, so won't "need" a D. I have high C and D NAFs that don't get played much and they don't have as much range as a whistle, so I wanted to start with a lower pitch. Also, I like jazz and Bb is a more natu...
