Re: Happy Birthday Dakota Mouse

Thank you for the birthday wishes! Yes, I kinda dropped out of sight, didn't I. I have been very lazy with my whistles. Sti...

I got a Rio for Christmas and M. Eskin is my first track

II'm trying to figure out this cool little gizmo, the MP3 Player Rio Karma and the first tracks I loaded are by Michael Eskin, Banish Misfortune and Rosin Dubh. He posted them a long time ago and they've been just sitting on my hard drive. Now I can listen to them anywhere. If you're reading this Mi...

How could you be lost in North Dakota? There isn't a lick of snow on the ground. If you're in the Red River Valley where it's flat you can see nearly forever. If there are some trees in the way you must be around Bottineau. If there are some buttes and gullies in sight you must be out around Medora....

My mom didn't get an orchid this year either. I remember it used to be a tradition. You could even buy them at Kmart. Don't see any Easter bonnets either. Why somewhere at my mom's is a picture of me from the 1st grade in a bonnet made of tissue paper roses that we made at school. Not that I actuall...

Remember that money can not buy happiness. They have pills for that.
Dear Vomit Bunny I disagree. If there is one thing I've learned from Anna Nicole Smith it's that money CAN buy happiness but it CAN'T buy class!

Laugh if you will but I just love "Here comes Peter Cottontail". Yeah I know it has nothing to do with the true meaning of Easter. I nearly fell off my couch with gleeful laughter the first time I heard the singing bunnies in the Toys-R-Us commercial singing it. My husband started laughing...

Oh my.... I didn't get to that Cyndi Lauper CD till today. It's a cover album of jazz songs. "Walk on by" the old Dione Warwick song just finished and it is wonderful. Lauper has such a fantastic voice. It brings tears to your eyes. Don't judge her by "Girls just wanna have fun".
