Now there's an idea...I think I'll try to flute swap for a viola though...any around ??

Say...why not cut a sleeve from one of your unused bike tubes and stretch it over the flute barrel...save you some exercise too !

Ok....I've listened to it a dozen times with the analyser..it has to be the G flute.....using the full range too !

Boy is that impressive....glass for purity of tone !

I'm using an old cigar display from EBay..hangs on the wall, looks good, has hygrometer, holds 4 flutes nicely (vertical dissassembled)

Saw many different types...

Looked for quite a while before finding one that met the criteria though..

Ya got me Corin..that was my Noy. One note added in proof...because the Noy is nice and light, its more sensitive to the dry weather. The rings loosen easily when it gets too dry...the trick is to feel the loosest one each time you play and humidify the case when needed....this is particularly bad i...

I have a Noy keyless from EBay (no waiting!...see hash on this list last year about multiple orders.. :lol: :lol: )....Noy definitley has the best workmanship I've seen......sounds as good as the other top flutes (to me)...one of the easiest to sound (generally agreed)
