Re: An experiment with the Tipple Bb flute

Very nicely done Arbo! Do I understand correctly, you wrote that piece, is that right? Lovely, simply lovely. I would like to obtain the notation, any chance at all of doing so? Would certainly compensate you, wouldn't expect it otherwise. Don Psycho, I will try and write it out.... not to tough fo...

Re: An experiment with the Tipple Bb flute

Thought i would share this with the group. An older Tipple Bb flute. I don't really play it much as the top finger hole is almost too large to cover for me. But, I gave this a shot. A song i am working on. Arbo https://soundcloud.com/arbo-2/maid-on-the-shore-bb-tipple-flute Super. Haunting and evoc...

Re: Stuck in US Customs??

It should also be pointed out that a tracking number was given from the maker. That number did not register at the originating postal service ( no record of the number) when checked online (many, many times). There has been contact through texts and emails from the maker. Without such information, i...

FS: Robbie Hughes CP chanter

Hey all,

I have decided to sell my Hughes CP chanter as it is an extra, and I am not playing it. Blackwood and nickel silver, faux ivory mounts. Three keys: F, C, and G#. Reeded and playing well. It is bright and loud! Pictures upon request.
Please email if interested.

Raising the pitch on a whistle beyond the head adjustment

Hello all.

I am curious if anyone has been able to raise the pitch of a Generation whistle a 1/2 step higher? I have a Bb Generation that I would like to raise to match my B set of pipes. Thanks,
