Brian was not 'professional' in the sense of working fulltime as a maker but I've seen a fair few of his sets around...

Need advise - who is the maker of northumbrian pipes?

Good morning! I've found a set of 7-keyed northumbrian pipes for sale. Current owner told me that the surname of the maker is Gubb, he is from Blyth. Material is rosewood. The set was owned by 3 musicians before current owner, approximate age of the set is about 30-40 years. I don't really know how ...

Mr. Gumby, I'll ask you again - can you share "Inchiquin" and this live recording with me? If it's not a problem for you. I'll be greatfull for that.

Re: !!! Inchiquin by Inchiquin, 1976 !!!

Yes, I've seen this recording. :) I don't know, I think he is great. Didn't have a chance to meet him, but a friend of mine is his apprentice - he says Noel is a strange, but really amazing person. And incredible concertina player, of course. Mr. Gumby, can you share "Inchiquin" and this l...

Re: !!! Inchiquin by Inchiquin, 1976 !!!

I don't think I said anything about that, one way or the other. It was not about something you said. What I'm saying is that making a digital copy from LP is quite hard and I'm not sure you are going to do it for a total stranger. If I am wrong - sorry. The question you posed was a rather open ende...

Re: !!! Inchiquin by Inchiquin, 1976 !!!

There isn't really much to say about it. It was 1976 and they were very young. So, you want to say there is no need to listen to this album? I can't. Because it is interesting, what was it like in the beginning. Besides, it is young Noel. :D I do understand that you won't make a digital copy of thi...

Hi there! I'm trying to find an information about an album "Inchiquin" by Inchiquin (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Inchiquin-Vinyl-LP/dp/B009EVPSMG). It was recorded in 1976, and the members of Inchiquin were Noel Hill, Tony Linnane, Tony Callanan and Kieran Hanrahan. Does anyone nows something ...

Martin And P.J. Hayes - The Shores Of Lough Graney

I'm looking for Martin And P.J. Hayes - The Shores Of Lough Graney (1990).
It is strange, but I'm interested in a cassette copy. Maybe somebody transferred it to mp3. I've heard it once and there is a difference between cd and cassette... It will be great if someone can share it!
Thanks!
