FS: Casey Burns Folk Flute in boxwood. Age unknown, early 00’s AFAIK. Played an hour a day for the past four months, so, broken-in and ready to go. Nothing at all wrong with it, it’s quite lovely really, I’m just moving in a different direction with my learning/playing. $400 OVNO shipped/ insured CO...

Re: Carbony High D flute?

Classy backscratcher...but backscratchers matter. It is Miss Elspeth, my small gray cat, who must be held accountable for what is surely a noble instrument to find itself in such reduced circumstances. She is quite devoted to the flute, and if she hasn’t accompanied me upstairs to my office for our...

Re: Carbony High D flute?

So, yes, I’ve now got one of Terry McGee’s lovely piccs on the way, but would still like to hear from folks that have experience with a delrin or carbon-fiber high-D flute/piccolo, meaning, a six-hole (or seven, if it’s got a C-nat port for the left thumb) tapered-bore thingummy. Not really interest...

Re: Carbony High D flute?

@steve And I have a blackwood (not Delrin/other "plastic" but still nice) piccolo from Terry McGee that I would part with, should that be of any interest. Steve Oooh, I’m really thinking of something abuse-worthy, which one of Terry’s Blackwood piccolos really isn’t BUT. . . Um, I’ll PM yo...

Carbony High D flute?

Hello all, does anyone have experience with the Carbony High D flute? Or lacking that, know of someone that is currently making a delrin, composite, or other un-keyed, non-wood, conical-bore piccolo?

FS: Chris Abell D whistle or WTT for delrin flute SOLD

Have a lovely Chris Abell high D whistle in Blackwood and silver. Played very little, but has a small few marks on the mouthpiece and a tiny ding in the lip. Plays beautifully, it’s just not for me. $500 ONO shipped and insured, no more than a few days waiting time. OR trade for a high-quality Delri...

FS: Casey Burns Folk Flute- Blackwood

I have a Casey Burns Folk Flute for sale, made December 2013, with less than an hour's playing time on it. African Blackwood. It's a lovely instrument, absolutely nothing wrong with it, but I've focused entirely on the whistle and it's just sitting. Case, of course, included. $375, shipped and insur...
