looking to buy 7 hole bamboo flute.
7th hole is 3 semitones lower than standard 6 irish keyless flute.
Key of B would be easy enough for the stretch.

Besides barna gabos which is an amazing maker. Is there anyone else making keyless wooden flutes in keys like alto G, f, etc?

7 hole whistle concept
for higher pitched whistles like alto G and higher.
Add 7th hole for bottom pinky, so it can play 3 semitones lower than previous tonic.
IE on a G whistle, the new 7th hole plays E
Seems very useful, has this been done before?

Best low wooden whistle maker?
Who is the best maker for a low G wooden whistle?
Grinter, Fred Rose, Bleazey?
I checked with Roy Mcmanus, but he doesnt do low G anymore.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Question about olwell waiting list
Been on the waiting list just over one year at this stage. I sent a couple emails inquiring about things and they have gone un-replied. Seems odd, anyone else getting no replies back? Not trying to be pushy or anything as I understand the wait is long and well-worth every minute. The email I've been...

Soft or hard cases? Do you disassemble or not?
Just wondering about how people treat their wooden instruments. I'm relatively new to flutes so I was wondering if it would be better to separate the flute into it's pieces, or have it all connected. Specifically I'm talking about Tenor Recorders and Bass Recorders. A hard case would be required if ...

Re: Any experienced PVC flute makers out there?
I have a new request. I would like a PVC Xiao or Quena-style mouthpiece for a recorder, I will supply the wooden recorder. Please PM Me if you think you can do it. Im willing to pay the price to make it worth your while.
