I have received a Low Bb Lehart flute:
Came without a case, so I need one for it. I'm thinking of something like a roll-bag.
Any suggestion of something suitable for this kind of flute? Available online preferably.

Re: B-flat lever LH (Reviol)
I think anyone who lost their left thumb would be glad of this set up but it looks cumbersome IMO. Or for the ones that use their left thumb to hold the flute (piper's grip and the like). I'm trying to learn the standard way of holding the flute, but I still find it easier to hold the flute with my...

B-flat lever LH (Reviol)
Hmm, didn't know about this option to operate the Bb key: http://www.reviol.co.nz/out_of_focus/album/African%20Blackwood%20Flute%20with%209%20keys/slides/IMG_9109.html http://jalbum.net/a/976610 (Some of the pics' captions say that it is operated with the right hand... Re: Patrick Olwell documentary finished!
I just watched the trailer....it looks like Patrick is playing the flute for that demo....judging by the end shot...if that is him playing, he's one hell of a flute player! Sounds like Seamus Egan to me....Anyone know who the flute player is? Thanks! I suppose you are referring to this teaser: http...

Re: FS: E.Cotter D, 6 Keys, double Bb Key, Blackwood
So, which one of these is missing: C-nat, long F-nat, short F-nat, G#, Eb?Frank wrote:...has 6 keys, with a double Bb key...
Or the double Bb is in addition to the 6 keys?
Does it sound like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJHyHw6tMfk

[eBay] Boehm and Mendler Original Wooden Flute
US $22,500.00 Buy It Now This circa 1880's Boehm and Mendler flute plays with the fluidity of a modern flute since it was originally constructed with the "still used today" Briccialdi Style Bb along with a "still used today" Closed G # Key which makes this particular flute extre...

There are flutes with the short F key only:
