You're also going to need a whistle that is capable of not only reaching, but sustaining the third D without sounding shrill or have too much air in the sound. I probably know the answer already, but did you call Peter? The last time I spoke to Peter was several months ago. At that time it did not sound as though there would be any whistles coming into production. He did not have any originals and the new whistle plans seemed stalled. A shame really. Life...
