Yes, I agree Sedi, best next move is addressing the clogging. - making sure the windway and blade are regularly cleaned and practising playing with a drier mouth in particular. Few would argue the Goldie is a better all round whistle but it'll likely be more prone to operator error!

Clogging is a user issue not a whistle issue, except maybe in extreme cases.

Yes, Fin is excellent and very helpful.

I would forget gimmicks like clip on keys. The pinky is easy. If you think of Uilleann pipes, D in all fingers down, E is raising the pinky and ring finger. The low whistle can be played exactly the same way and this method completely eliminates any stretch.
