Stolen Concertina in San Francisco RECOVERED

A place for our musicians to post information about instruments lost, stolen, or otherwise missing.
Forum rules
This is the C&F-wide forum for posting notices of any instruments which have been lost or stolen, or have gone missing.

Titles should include at least the type of instrument (flute, fiddle, etc.), the place of disappearance, and the nature of the loss.

Example: Stolen: Generation D whistle in Timbuktu

Reports linked from other sources or internet sites should include the basic information in addition to just the link.

In order to limit cross-posting, and to keep reporting and information centralized in one place, a post linking to a notice here (but not a copy) may be posted in ONE other C&F forum, typically the forum of the instrument involved.

Of course, follow-up posts to announce found or recovered instruments are always welcome!

Thanks - Your ChiffCo Management

Stolen Concertina in San Francisco RECOVERED

A friend's concertina was stolen in San Francisco. Anyone on or near the west coast, please look out at pawn shops and/or online for a Frank Edgley concertina. Photos are above, and hopefully visible. (I guess you have to log in to facebook... sorry.)

Nico, can you or your friend add at least a basic description of the instrument and circumstances, contact info, etc.? We prefer not to have a listing here be completely dependent on another site, especially one that requires a login. Thanks!

Hey MTGuru,

At the time I had nothing else :D

The owner is Steven Agacinski and he says: "It was stolen from the trunk of my car, which was parked overnight in the city of San Francisco. Stupid San Francisco."

As mentioned above, it is a Frank Edgely concertina. It's a 30 button one, C/G, with light brown wood for the ends, metal face- / sound- plates, and black bellows.

I guess that's all I have, now, but I've mentioned it to Steve and hopefully he'll make the photos public.

Luckily the maker saw it on eBay and it has been returned to the proper owner. So all is well with this one!
