Tell us something.: I play traditional Irish and Scottish music. "The beginner should approach style warily, realizing that it is an expression of self, and should turn resolutely away from all devices that are popularly believed to indicate style — all mannerisms, tricks, adornments. The approach to style is by way of plainness, simplicity, orderliness, sincerity."

It would provide a single point for those interested in the subject to have an open discussion and would avoid all the conflict that seems to arise when discussions of vPipes or iPad/iPhone apps get interspersed with discussions on the acoustic instruments. As more instruments and apps are developed, the conflicts will only increase.
I certainly don't feel like I have a place here where I can talk about what I'm developing anymore except for my once-a-month commercial posts for fear of being assaulted by those who have no interest in what I'm doing. I would welcome such a new forum, it certainly would be at least as active as, for example, the concertina board.
