Hello all,
Our good South Carolina piping friend, Ed Harrison, is having a tough battle with the big "C". Ed is truly one of the good people and I hope we all wish him well and courage.
All the best,
Pat Sky

I can empathize, as I am a cancer survivor myself. My very best to Ed!
Give a man a wooden reed and he'll play in the driest of weather,
Teach a man to make a wooden reed,
and the both of ye will go insane!

Onward and upward, Edward! I'm not sure if my tune-playing will help, but I'll do it with gusto.

Thanks for the post, Pat.
Sorry to hear about Ed but I'll add prayers to my tunes for him. We had some happy piping times at Elkins and have stayed in touch for years. Southern pipers are a gracious and talented bunch.
Hang tough, Ed, the "Alabama preacher" says "Hey!"

Same here, Ed! My prayers and thoughts are with you and I am thinking fondly of the times in the past we have been able to have a few tunes together and I look forward to more in the future. All the best, my friend!
