Freeman Whistle soundclips ...

Post by Jerry Freeman »

By popular request, here are soundclips of all the Freeman tweaked whistles:

Eb Blackbird
D Blackbird
C Blackbird

D Mellow Dog
C Mellow Dog (this is the same as a C Blackbird expect with a green whistlehead and a brass tube)

Bb tweaked Generation
C tweaked Generation
D tweaked Generation
Eb tweaked Generation
F tweaked Generation
G tweaked Generation

D tweaked Feadog

D tweaked Sweetone
C tweaked Sweetone

I now have an eBay store with all my whistles except the nickel Generations.

I'll list the nickel Generations as soon as I can get to it. You can always purchase from me directly, from me on eBay or from any of the vendors who carry my whistles, whichever you prefer. I stand behind every instrument I touch, regardless of how long ago or from whom you got the whistle.

Best wishes,
Jerry

The answer you seek just may be part of each mp3 file name! :D

Thanks, Mason.

The nickel tweaked Generations are now listed, so all the whistles I do are showing now.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Yeah, thanks for posting these. It's great to be able to hear them all playing the same tune and with the same recording setup.

I'm a little surprised at the differences I can hear when able to compare them back to back.

Buy the Nickel Generation Bb for $29.50 before Jerry comes to his senses! I paid $38.90 a couple of weeks ago for that whistle and would do it again in a heartbeat!

I'm with Mason. I bought a Generation Nickel Bb from Jerry several months ago. Every time I play it, even at sessions, folks turn their head and are shocked when they see what it is. I love my Mellow Dog and my Blackbird (both Jerry tweaked) as well as my Burke Low D but the one that folks love is the Bb. Get one!
