Support available . . .

Post by Lambchop »

The last post in this forum was months ago! What gives with that? Doesn't anyone need support???

It would be easier to ask for help if I wasn't the only person in 3 months who needed it . . . <sigh>

Here's my problem: Every time I come here now, I have to log in again. This is a relatively new development. It occurred after the last update, and . . . ominously . . . another board just like this one also doesn't recognize me after having been updated.

I would like to come here and be welcomed with a cheery "Lambchop! How lovely of you to visit!" rather than "Who the heck are you?"

Any suggestions?

I don't know, Lamby. This happens to me, too, but it doesn't really bother me. And I don't think the Chiffboard is mad at me. :-)

Will look into this, time permitting.

Well, it bothers me. Or did. Maybe not so much now that I know I'm not alone.

Thank you for your support, MTGuru! You're doing a fine job!

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Guess I'm not zackly sure of the question. I've always had to log in, but then I always log out when I go. Sooooooooooooo......guess I won't be of much help, here.

Could another family member or someone else be cleaning and deleting your internet files and browsing history and stuff? My wife hates when I do that. I know that I'm going to have to re-log in to all my fave sites again but this always comes as a surprise and annoyance to her. Just sayin.

Err, nobody I've noticed . . . but thanks for the reminder. It *is* time to clean the closets!

This occurred to me. I've always had this cookie in the "I'll treasure you forever" group.

OK, so here's a second question . . . did anyone's log-in status change after upgrading to the . . . uhh . . . latest edition . . . of Internet Explorer?
