Looking to try out some lows: Overton, MK, Burke.

Alright, I've already filled this C&F forum with signs aplenty of my lunacy and acute WhOA. I live in Nashville Tennessee and I want to try these whistles: A Burke low, and an Overton low. By "low" I mean any whistle from low D to low F. I just need to try these whistle makes, I'm not picky about the key. If you have one of these whistles and your are in this area, I really want to see what it's all about. If, by some off chance, there is also someone around with an MK, I would like to try that too. Just wondering what forum to post this on, so I'm posting it on the test forum first. What forum should I repost to?

Eh, good point. The Exchange of course isn't only a seller's venue. But I also think that the founding topic can invite discussion; the Exchange, by its rules, does not. Consider my post above a socially motivated, if incompletely considered, suggestion.

Did I ever tell you of the time at the State Fair when I saw a Belgian step on his caretaker's foot? That was a sight to behold. I'm pretty sure he'd forgotten to wear steel-toed boots by the look of things.

Yes, Belgians are clumsy. They drink lots of beer and eat fried mussels, and speak weird dialects of French and Dutch. I'm not surprised they need caretakers.

She did like her beer, well anyone's beer. Don't know about the mussels.

It was the horse's left rear hoof on the guy's right foot. The horse just stood there munching while the guy repeatedly punched the horse's flank, and hard. After what seemed like an eternity, the horse looked back sort of absent-mindedly, noticed, and picked up his hoof from the hapless wretch.

Reminds me of the time our Shetland pony sat on me. I was about 9 or 10 years old, I think. The pony was elderly, and had weak front legs. I was cleaning and trimming a hind hoof when she decided I'd been holding it off the ground too long and her front legs were tired. So she sat down on me. Punching her had no effect. My sister had to run over and kick her with her pointy cowboy boots several times before she shifted enough for me to get free. Ah, good times!
