Anybody know what Andrea Corr attaches to her mic stand to hold whistles?

hi Jill!
That thing that holds Andrea's tin whistle is actually a drum stick holder (probably a spare one from Caroline, hehe).
Seriously, it is...
I, too, uses one to hold my whistle when I'm recording in front of my computer.
It's really nice having them holders around to put yer whistle on.
And if you're in a band (like Andrea), it's even better... No need to pocket your whistle.

But you'd lose the main advantage of pocketing the whistle... it stays warm!pao wrote:And if you're in a band (like Andrea), it's even better... No need to pocket your whistle.

Andrea is so hot, you see, that her whistles warm up instantly.dlovrien wrote:But you'd lose the main advantage of pocketing the whistle... it stays warm!
She would warm my whistle instantly.
Sorry, that was uncalled-for.

It's not the most inappropriate cliche I can think of.MTGuru wrote:Andrea is so hot, you see, that her whistles warm up instantly.dlovrien wrote:But you'd lose the main advantage of pocketing the whistle... it stays warm!

It helps to have a bass player in your band who is a daytime metal worker...

I got a Vater Multi-Stick Holder, made for drumsticks, that clamps and then screws onto the mic stand. The photo shows it at a diagonal, but it's adjustable. I've used it a few times and really like it. I ordered it from my local music store and think it was around $15.

I didn't realize that MTGuru held a little candle for Andrea... LOL. But then again I have a soft spot for Lasairfhiona, one of my favorite singers. Go figure!MTGuru wrote:Andrea is so hot, you see, that her whistles warm up instantly.dlovrien wrote:But you'd lose the main advantage of pocketing the whistle... it stays warm!
