Are small pipes easier to learn to play then
UP's?I've seen bellows blown smallpipes and thought they may be less complicated.

Eubie,

Smallpipes, assuming you are speaking of Scottish smallpipes, have the same fingering as Highland Pipes. They are basically a smaller version of the Highland Pipes. I wouldn't say that either is easier, just different.

Smallpipes are easier to play than UPs - they have fewer notes!
