Zamfir (pan flute) meets Immortal (black metal)

Post by Anglorfin »

Someone posted this on another forum I belong to. I couldn't stop laughing. It's even funnier if you know exactly where Immortal fits into the whole black metal culture (basically they're the guys everyone loves to make fun of). But it's still funny to anyone.

edit:/ I guess you can't embed objects on this forum? My apologies. Did not realize. I could have sworn I saw youtube movies posted successfully.

Honestly, I think the video's even funnier with the original music.
Cripes, what a bunch of poseurs.

There's also a Beach Boys version. Immortal-bashing appears to
be quite the passtime for some folks.

One more: Sped up Benny Hill-style, set to Yakkity Sax.

EDIT: Anglor fixed the tags.

Yeah idk what those tags are about either. I'll try to fix.

The original is indeed funny enough. Though I've heard this video was intentionally not serious as they created it to be aired on a news program in response to an incident a while ago about black metal fans burning churches throughout Scandinavia. Their "real" videos are not much better though.

It's very hard to tell that this is a joke. I still have my doubts haha.

Tell us something.: Looking to discuss flutes, pipes and whistles. Especially interested in the used instruments exchange.

I feel really sorry for those Immortal fans who thinks Immortal is a serious band. Anybody with a greater sense of humour than Vladimir Putin understands that they (Immortal) aren't serious.
