New GFM whistle tour

Post by ctilbury »

Hello everyone. I am almost ready to release my new mezzo whistles. They are basically a scaled up version of my soprano instruments. Before I do, I would like to have a quick tour to make sure I have all of the bugs out. Anyone interested?

I want to recruit 4 tour managers. These will be in charge of making sure their part of the tour goes forward to completion. When all of their participants have seen the whistle, then the manager gets to keep it.

The purpose of this tour is *not* to inspire orders, though that is ok... :D The purpose of this tour is to find out if I have what I think I do, and that is an excellent instrument. Therefore, I am not sending out well-finished instruments, but they are just finished enough to not be to offensive. I will be sending out 4 sets of instruments. A soprano D and a mezzo G body to each tour. These are wide-body instruments, designed to be loud and proud.

I would like to have a good mix of beginners and experenced (read professional) players in the tour. If you are interested in participating, please send me an email at ctilbury <at> GraniteFallsMfg <dot> com. I am hoping to start the tour no later than Friday, Sept. 22, so please do not delay if you are interested.

All of the usual rules apply. You will have some number of days to look at it and play. The number of days depends on the number of participants. Your feedback should be sent to me, or the tour manager (who will forward it to me), or posted in a thread here on C&F. I will ship it to the manager, who will ship to the first participant. Then they will ship it to the next, etc.
Happy Whistling!
