Greetings,
Just want to pass along an excellent webpage that I found for those of us who can use some more info about trad music breathing technique... http://www.rogermillington.com/siamsa/b ... eathe.html ...although it's basic, the cool thing for me is the great example tune with breath notes and an accompanying MP3 file... even though I've understood the concepts, I'm finding this piece very useful to actually apply and practice where/when to breathe. I think other new players will find this helpful.

On another note (no pun), I recently purchased and listened to the CD "The MAD BUCKGOAT: Ancient Music of Ireland" by the Baltimore Consort with Chris Norman. Great flute, interesting music selections, and arrangements...check it out if you haven't.

Best to all - Tod

Chris, it's on the Dorian label and is currently available at Amazon, and probably a lot of other common outlets
