I'm new to this forum, and I must say that I'm impressed with the collective knowledge of this group and your willingness to share it with others, especially beginners like myself. Has anyone tried the MadforTrad flute tutorial? Is it appropriate for beginners? I would appreciate any opinions.
Regards,
Greg

Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

Welcome Greg!

Try doing a search using the message board search function - I seem to remember this topic coming up not that long ago. You might try searching "Mad for Trad", or "Seamus Egan" seaching in both headers and body of the message.

Cheers,

I have the Bouzouki tutorial and have seen the whistle tutorial. Both are quite good. I would think that the flute tutorial would also be quite good.

You can get them on the web at:

Thanks Loren and Michael. I think I'll give their tutorial a go. From all accounts it seems to be a good starting point for a beginner. Imagine, a lesson with Seamus Egan. Hopefully, some of it will sink in.
Thanks again and Happy New Year.
