hello from France, I bought an ebony flute (I don't have the flute in my hands yet) at a very low price. The person does not know who made the instrument. I was wondering if anyone had an idea?
It looks like a standard German made flute of the late 19th/early 20th century, but having only an Fnat key is unique. Normally, they would have anywhere from 1 to 8 keys, but a single key would be the Eb/D# key. I wonder if it's even in standard D or if it's a shorter flute. I'm not all that familiar with English style band flutes, so maybe they come with an Fnat key?
