Kenny, not so new for flute players who attended to Cruinniú na bhFliúit last years.
Nice compositions by Conal.

Fair enough - I missed last year, so they could be a couple of years old by now. Hope all is well with you - stay safe. Kenny

That video seems to have been removed from "Youtube", for reasons best known to "the uploader". However, "Bran Ruz" was quite correct - Conal played these 2 reels at last year's Ballyvourney "Cruinniu" [ which I unfortunately missed ]. There's nearly an hour and a half from "The Fluter's Ball" [ which was an event, not a raffle - old Scottish joke ]. Conal plays the 2 reels from around 19m 40s.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Tell us something.: I can only hope that my proficiency with the whistle is steadily improving. A few of my whistles get a workout on an almost daily basis. And I'm almost certainly afflicted with WhOAD.

TG4 will do a series of programs, the clip was posted as a p[romotion/trailer, where you can see this and more : TG4 : Cork Folk Festival

I have seen him play these tunes a few times. Last time I saw him he had another set of self composed tunes, that I didn't record for some reason and the names seem to have slipped away as well. One had to do with a location between Top of Coom and O'Ghrada's house and a witch that used to is said to have lived there. But that is just about all that is left in my memory of it.
