Dear whistlers,

I have for sale a lovely Musique Morneaux wooden Low D whistle.
Made by Joseph Morneault from Musique Morneaux
(formerly Sweetheart Flute Company, USA,
http://musiquemorneaux.com/low-whistles/)

It is a NEW instrument.
I just played it in order to test if it could suit my style of playing and record the sound samples at the end.

Selling for £500.
FREE Kerry Pro Custom Low D Brass Body.
FREE shipping.

- Easy to play/finger
- Fast and Responsive
- Easy to reach and play Second Octave
- In tune Cnat with cross-fingering OXXOOO
- Conical bore
- Small holes
- Ergonomic off-set holes
- Tunable
- Mopane wood (Colophospermum Mopane)
- Custom extra brass ring
- Excellent craftsman
- Timbre/Tone that reminds an Irish flute

I asked Jos to add the extra brass ring on the body tuning-slide (instead of the standard one ring only on the fipple).
The craftsman of this whistle is excellent as you would expect from Jos.

The tone of this whistle has those dark reedy nuances that reminds an Irish flute
(so it is different from any MK, Lofgren, Chieftain or Goldie whistles).

I really like this whistle, unfortunately it does not suit my style of playing.
I just played the whistle a couple of times to see if I could get used to it and to record the sound samples at the end.
Therefore it is a brand new whistle and it is awaiting a new owner since last September.

I wish to find a new home for this whistle than having it and not playing as it deserves.
I want to sell the whistle to a new owner that will take great care of it.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more details.

This whistle is also on sale on Facebook.
