I very much like Gary Humphrey’s whistles and have purchased several of his high Ds. I really only need one, though, so I’m selling these two. To be clear, there aren’t two complete whistles, there’s one head and two interchangable bodies.
One body is brand new and is what he calls the Journeyman III, made from thick-walled aluminum.
The other body has seen some use (i.e. has a patina) and is what Gary calls the Stealth III—thinner walled brass (like most of the whistles out there).
Gary makes his whistles in different bore sizes; these two are the trad/narrow bore model—similar to a Generation.
New, the head/ 2 bodies combination would go for $165 plus about $15 postage. I'm asking $140 with free shipping in the U.S. (lower 48).
