Oh dear. I'd bid for it excepting I'd hate to cut off someone who needs it more than I. Oh dear.....

Tell us something.: I can only hope that my proficiency with the whistle is steadily improving. A few of my whistles get a workout on an almost daily basis. And I'm almost certainly afflicted with WhOAD.

Good buy David F. So 3000 AUD + 18% buyer's premium and 3% online surcharge. Totalt approx. 3630 AUD = €2179 = £1972 = $2582 + postage of course.

I wonder if there was a patent head together with the cracked Rudall & Rose head joint originally, as discussed on FB Flute history channel? Perhaps the RRC head joint is a replacement for the missing patent head joint? No matter, a fine instrument.

Yep, would have expected to have a Patent head with this one but I'm not complaining!

My uncle lives 15 minutes from the auction house and is sending it tomorrow. Will post more photos on FHC when it arrives!
