Mary Bergin playing three of her own compositions for a whistle workshop weekend in the Scottish highlands, 2002 :
https://youtu.be/YMDUHN5V9Eg
I have never heard any of them played in a session, which is a shame, as all 3 are fine tunes.
Always best to learn by ear, but if it helps, I did post sheet music for all 3 on "thesession.org".

Re: Mary Bergin's own reels
Thanks for doing the work!
I'll check them out.
PS what are their titles? I searched under "Bergin" and nothing showed.

The 3 titles are listed in the caption, under the title "Mary Bergin's Reels" :

Re: Mary Bergin's own reels
Kenny, my poor attempt at a translation would be Bárr na Ceibhe- something like ´top of the quay´, or ´tip of the quay´, taking the meaning for Ceibhe from a West Galway dialect. Any other possibilities?

I'm afraid I have no idea, Bob. Happy to bow to your superior knowledge of Irish Gaelic. Thanks for the translation.

Re: Mary Bergin's own reels
Thanks Kenny.
Lovely tunes and a great pity that they are not played more frequently.
I love the little aba triplet in the last tune.
Am really enjoying the music that you are putting up on youtube.
Keep em coming

I just tried searching Tunes again and neither "Bergin" nor "Bergin's" yield any matches.
Which is strange.

Re: Mary Bergin's own reels
Sorry if I've caused confusion here. "Mary Bergin's Reels" is the collective title I personally applied to the 3 tunes. If I'd posted 3 obscure tune titles, possibly not many people would have bothered to look. Using the composer's name, especially of someone as well-respected as Mary, made it more likely that people might have a listen to the recording and hopefully learn and spread the tunes. Hope this clears things up. Thanks to Bob for providing the links.
