Hi folks,
Quick announcement: the first episode of Shaping the Irish flute is airing tomorrow Monday June 8 at 7pm Irish time (disclaimer: I'm the creator).
Shaping the Irish Flute is a new podcast taking you around the world to meet flute player who are making today’s Irish flute playing. In the first episode, we’re lucky to be asking a few questions to Brendan Mulholland from Northern Ireland.

Re: Flute Podcast: Shaping the Irish flute
Watched it and it was very interesting. Brendan said some controversial things. Like that he thinks there are no local flute playing styles because everybody learns from so many different sources. I also thought it was interesting that he said the most important thing is tone. And if you work on the tone everything will fall into place.
I am very much looking forward to the next one.

Hey guys,
#2 is on the way, with John Wynne. Hint: he has a different stance on regional styles
