THANKS to all for the comments and advises! I've been playing from approximately 6 months and, also thanks to your clarifications, my initial idea of buying a good keyless is confirmed. I've just ordered a Solen Leseouf keyless flute in Mopane. Can't wait! In the meantime (7 months of waiting list) I'll keep on practicing on my McNeela African Blackwood flute. For the moment, no particular need to add keys :-)
