Anyway, then he went out and people started noticing him and he still wasn't happy with his music, just like when he thought he was playing well but had nobody listening to him. It's one conundrum and you can't win one way or the other.

I am not sure either, it's been a while. There's a version in one of O'Neill's books that Ennis expanded, as far as I remember anyway.

of course there is 'Féidhm Tonn Ri's Castle' , perhaps only available on Vinyl ( Claddagh CC19) but a whole LP with the one long story and tunes in between who's titles are suggested by the story. I never hear people talk of this Seamus Ennis recording from 1977, perhaps it is not so significant to pipers.

My children loved this recording and my daughter has been looking for a CD or downloadable version to play to her children... I would be interested if anyone has a source.

Spotify and amazon should have it, and Itunes

I had a look throug my Seamus Ennis - CDs and found a copy of Feidlim Tonn Ri´s Castle. I had forgotten that decades ago a friend had burned me one.
