I really enjoy and Kudos to pipers who move the tradition forward unlike those who seem to be stuck in some sort of time loop .My seventeen year old daughter, who usually is a bit indifferent to Uilleann pipe music said she really liked the upbeat playing. So well done and good luck with the album. Who sings on " the trees they do grow high" really nice ?

I’ve never had anything to do with that boy band but hey, that pic goes back a few years!!

There should definitely be a post on here for pipers questionable hairstyles!

Tell us something.: If you flush your toilet 7 times whilst lilting "The Bucks of Oranmore", an apparition of one of the great pipers of old will appear in the mirror, you will be blessed with good reeds, but cursed with bad bags and bellows.

IMHO the northern Ireland accent lends itself very well to a certain type of ballad singing, I preferred Paul Brady to Christy Moore as the main singer in Planxty. Northern Ireland does seem to have more than its fair share of fine singers.
