Beafifer.com's Student Fife

(Posted to the Flute Forum because I could not think of a more appropriate forum)

Hello, everybody.

I have seen in a different post (which I am far too lazy to fish for) someone recommending beafifer.com's Student Fife in Bb. It is a cheap plastic fife that the commenter mentioning it said is good for its value. Being fife-curious, I wonder if any of you have any experience with their Student Fife and what your opinion about it is.

I've played Bb fife, not anything by this maker. However my impression (FWIW)
is that this person knows fifes well. If I'm reading right the student fife costs ten bucks.
The maker says it plays as easily as any fife. Nothing to lose.
