FS: Sweetheart Irish Flute In D, Maple

Post by MaxFlute »

Purchased second hand in 2003, this is (I believe) an old style Sweetheart Irish Flute (in Maple).
Carefully stored and only occasionally used by me, it is in excellent condition (apart from one tiny cosmetic mark). It has a pleasing, gentle tone (no barrel Ds here!!) and is as you’d expect well intonated. Pics available on request.
Looking for £200, plus postage, ono.
Cheers!

BUMP!!!

...but also...

Update on instrument details;
Whilst taking pictures of the flute to send to an interested party I noticed something I’d forgotten about it: that the head and the body have different serial numbers (one digit apart). I certainly bought it like that and I have no reason to think the person I bought it off (a fairly disinterested metal flute player) did any ‘switching’, so my best guess is that it’s the result of a mix-up from the dealer or shop (unknown) that he bought it off who may well have had multiple (disassembled) Sweetheart Flutes....
Anyway, makes no difference to the Flute-it’s still a gentle-toned player with great intonation.
Cheers!
