Help with tune names

Post by Steve Bliven »

Trying to get tune names for the following:
* The second tune in this Old Blind Dogs recording
* The third reel here. Begins at 3:13

Thanks for any help.

Best wishes.

Thanks. Had a real "duh" moment there. Brain dead or something. I knew it sounded familiar but....

Best wishes.

FWIW, if anyone is wondering, the other one is 'Farewell to Miltown Malbay'.

No it's not, Mr G. That is if your'e referring to the request about the "Old Blind Dogs" tune. An old Scottish tune, known only as "The Auld Reel" - as is listed accompanying the video. Very closely associated with "The Bunch Of Keys", which is what it may have become once it crossed the water and - to quote Harry Bradley - "went it's own way".

Me and Gumby, both in the corner... At least it's good company.

Best wishes.
