Just thought the string community would take interest in the latest Ebay sensation:

An (actual!) 15th century hurdy gurdy, with original string!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/ca-Anno-1400-SENSATION-Oldest-hurdy-gurdy-in-the-World-now-on-EBay/253921417571?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Actually looks to be in incredible shape, maybe even playable. Would certainly be awesome for a maker to copy.

This is one of those instruments that you just can't go cheap with, if you want something that can actually play music.
